Pierce Century Farm is a 5th generation farm, family-owned and operated, in the quiet town of Hillsboro, Missouri.

Connecting food and families, we strive to provide locally grown produce and ethically raised meat, while cultivating a space for both education and community.

Ben & Rebecca Pierce

Ben & Rebecca Pierce, along with his parents, work on more than 220 acres, growing garden fresh produce, raising pasture-grazed beef and maintaining a young orchard of apple and peach trees.

In 2018, they created a market space on the property to better serve their growing customer base. Feeding families dinner has become the highlight of their week, with more than 250 families served annually.

Some of the most popular events on the farm include Fall Farm Days and Fireworks on the Farm. Friends and neighbors alike come out for weekend farm fun including corn maze adventures, pumpkin picking and hayrides.

Groups are welcome to take educational tours of the farm to learn more about where food comes from and our agricultural practices. Pierce Century Farm has a strong focus on advocacy, which is why they also partner with area schools and community programs to highlight the importance of local farming.

In addition to hosting the public at the farm, they are a featured vendor at the local Farmer’s Market during growing season.

“Where Family Grows”

For our family, we are grateful for the responsibility that the farm provides. Picking berries and baling hay is not always glamorous, but meeting the people that enjoy our products gives us a strong sense of pride and satisfaction. We have enjoyed cultivating not only a setting for produce to grow, but families, too. Our relaxed farm atmosphere offers space for kids to run, parents to relax, and friends to create memories.
